Elon Musk Sues OpenAi over Ai threat and migration from non profit to profit driven

Elon musk indicated that Openai has been turned into a closed source program which prevents anyone from gaining access to the codes, this stands against the foundation on which the program was structured.

He also noted that that openai is developing AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) to maximize profits for Microsoft, rather than for the benefit of humanity which is contrary to the founding agreement.

Artificial General Intelligence, or AGI for short, describes AI systems with comprehension, learning, and application capabilities that extend beyond human levels in a variety of tasks and areas.

The goal of artificial general intelligence (AGI) is to imitate human intellectual abilities such as reasoning, problem-solving, perception, and natural language understanding in contrast to specialized AI systems that are superior at particular tasks or domains.

Realizing AGI is regarded as a major turning point in the development of artificial intelligence and may have far-reaching effects on society since it may pave the way for innovations across a range of domains and drastically alter how humans engage with technology.
