The Ivory Coast national football team, known as the Elephants, secured their third Africa Cup of Nations victory, marking a historic achievement. They first claimed the title in 1992, followed by a win in 2015, and now triumphantly in 2023.

In an exhilarating match, the team staged a remarkable comeback after losing 1-0 in the first 45 minutes with a goal scored by Nigerian W. Troost-Ekong in the 38 minute, the turn around came with F. Kessié later equalizing in the 62nd minute. The winning moment came when S. Haller scored the decisive goal in the 81st minute, clinching victory and allowing the Ivorian team to lift the cup for the third time since 2015.
