India Hosted the 71st Edition of Miss world 2024 in Ashok hotel in new Delhi, India. Representing Nigeria is Most beautiful girl in Nigeria (MBGN) Joy Agwu Ada Eme.
The 71st Edition of Miss world 2024 opening ceremony hosted February 2oth at the Ashok hotel in new Delhi, India, with 115 Elegant, Ambitious and decorated women round the world from different countries and continents.
This ladies were properly chosen by their individual countries through pageantry competitions to represent them in Miss world 2024. They will undergo series of competitions like head-to-head challenge, beauty with a purpose, talent round, sports fitness, amongst other things.
Currently representing Nigeria is Joy Agwu Ada Eme who Emerged the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2022. She was crowned MBGN in October 21st, 2022 at the Eko hotel and suites in Lagos state, Nigeria.

Ada Eme is a strong advocate for children living with Schistosomiasis (a disease that make people urinate blood) her younger brother was diagnosed with this disease at an early age, so this triggered Ada Eme to fight against this disease by creating awareness and treatments under her BWAP program (beauty with a purpose).
Investigations has proven that this parasitic disease is found mostly in Africa where 300,000 people are affected. BWAP program was one of the 25 that stood out in the Miss world 2024 head-to-head challenge.
The Winner of Miss world 2024 will be Crowned march 9, 2024 at the Jio Convention World Center, in Mumbai.
The last time Nigeria came home with the Miss World title was 2001 when Agbani Darego was crowned at Sun City, South Africa.
Miss World was usually hosted in United kingdom between 1951 and 1988, it was hosted outside united kingdom the first time in 1987 in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
