Yung Filly a British YouTuber and rapper has been extradited to Perth, Australia, facing eight charges, including sexual penetration without consent and assault.
The allegations relate to an incident on September 28, 2024, following a performance at a nightclub.
Rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly, whose actual name is Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, is a British national who is currently having serious legal issues in Australia.
After being charged with sexually assaulting a lady on September 28, 2024, after his performance at a nightclub, the 29-year-old entertainer was extradited from Queensland to Perth.
The accusations include several counts of choking, assault causing bodily harm, and sexual penetration without consent.
Yung Filly first became well-known on YouTube, where he was a part of the British video collaborative Beta Squad and collaborated with artists such as Sidemen.
Yung filly has more than six million followers on social media sites like Instagram and TikTok, he was able to advance his career into music and television.
He has also worked with well-known companies including ASOS, Primark, and Captain Morgan in addition to hosting a number of BBC programs, including the hit show Hot Property.
The charges are related to an incident in his hotel room in Perth after performing at Hillarys’ Bar1, a nightclub.
The alleged victim a girl in her early 20s claims that the morning following the event, Yung Filly attacked her.
Reports state that the allegations include three counts of assault resulting in bodily harm, four counts of sexual penetration without consent, and three counts of placing pressure to the woman’s neck to prevent her from breathing or circulating normally.
Detectives from the Western Australia Police’s Sex Assault Squad went to Brisbane in response to the allegations to capture Yung Filly and bring him back to Perth.
Since then, the YouTuber has appeared in Perth Magistrates Court, where he is scheduled to go on trial.
Even though the charges are serious, Yung Filly insists he is innocent and has been given conditional bail while the case is pending.
