A well-known Nigerian internet activist, who goes by the name Verydarkman and is famous for his catchphrase "you will learn and you will learn the hard way," has recently taken to social media to express his frustration with Nigeria's Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. Verydarkman claims that the minister has been ignoring his attempts to contact him, despite having important matters to discuss.
In posts shared on Facebook and Twitter, Verydarkman made it clear that he wasn’t looking for any personal favours or handouts from the minister. Instead, he wanted to bring attention to some urgent issues affecting Nigerian citizens abroad, particularly those living in Ukraine.
According to Verydarkman, several Nigerians in Ukraine reached out to him, sharing their difficulties and disappointment with the Nigerian government. The main problem stems from the closure of the Nigerian embassy in Ukraine, which has left many Nigerians there unable to renew their passports.
